Red Dot: Best of the Best 2015, Luminary Nominee

The Red Dot Design Award, awarded by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany, is the largest and most prestigious international award for design at a professional level. In 2015, in the fiercely competitive Design Concept discipline, a panel of 20 international expert jury members met in Singapore and conferred the sought-after seal of quality ìRed Dotî in 31 categories with 4,680 entries from 61 countries. 40 concepts among these were honoured with the top prize in the competition for ground-breaking design, the Red Dot: Best of the Best.
Save3 was honoured with the Red Dot: Best of the Best and was among the top 5 designs nominated for the Red Dot: Luminary.
The Jury nominated an unprecedented five out of the 40 Red Dot: Best of the Best laureates for the Red Dot: Luminary - the highest distinction of the competition. The five nominees were ìBoostracî by Hankooktire Co Ltd; ìFORTIS Human Powered Exoskeletonî by ROBRADY design; ìOXYGENEî by Dalian Nationalities University; ìSave3î by Aditi Singh & Parag Anand; and ìHere - lamp deskî by Serge Atallah.

International Design Awards, IDA 2015-SILVER

Aditi Singh, Parag Anand of India were awarded: Second Prize, IDA 2015-SILVER in Sustainable Living/Environmental Preservation Competition for the Save3 Project.
The International Design Awards (IDA), one of the most prestigious Design Awards in America, recognizes, honors and promotes legendary design visionaries and uncovers emerging talents in five design disciplines: Architecture, Interior, Product, Graphic and Fashion Design, on a global level. IDA aspires to draw attention to the iconoclasm of design world wide, conceptualizing and producing great work.
An internationally renowned panel of experts jury members examined works by architects and designers from 52 countries world over. The jury rewarded the best professional and emerging designers for their achievements in terms of design, creativity, usability and innovation. Judging was a rigorous process, with winners receiving publication of their work in the International Design Awards Book of Designs, a press campaign, directory, certificate of achievement, seal of winning design, online exposure and the IDA trophy. The winners will be felicitated at the official biennial International Design Awards Ceremony in Los Angeles in 2017. |
